Mexican Indépendance Day

Thomas loves to make up costumes. This one just happens to be a great Mexican Independence day costume!

She is one cute lady. WE love this little Mexicana!!

These are our friends, the Haskins. They are going to a public school together with our kids right now. And we hope they will get outside their comfort zones a little and really practice their Spanish!!

The Mexican Independence day program was great, Thomas lead his class out into the courtyard, each student wearing the traditional costumes of Spain and Mexico.

Kirtlyn's class took turns reading a message corresponding to the letter that spelled out Independence. She did it beautifully. Her accent is so good, I did not know it was her. I am still trying to figure out how to put video on here, but I will try to put that video on here.

This one is not working, but I will keep trying! Happy Mexican Independence Day
